Our Story

Bayside Building Materials, Inc. was started with 4 partners in 1967. As the years have gone by, Bayside is still owned and operated by an original partner, Giulio Sbragia. The store itself went from 4,000 sq. ft. to 21,000 sq. ft.

The property is over 2 acres full of merchandise. Bayside has been a first job to a lot of family members, and even to local youths who needed a little summer job and have gone off and had very successful lives, but still come back and say hello.

We have adult customers who come back and say they remember coming in with their family and they were always given a lollipop, we inform them we still give them out. You will always hear country music played throughout the store.

All of our employees have been here anywhere from 6 to 34 years.
